Girl among 2 found dead in Rajshahi

Two people, including a girl, were found dead in separate places in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi district on Monday morning.

Deceased Mokhles Ali, 45, son of late Mojahar Ali of Nukulbari village, and Salma Khatun, 19, daughter of the Abdus Salam of Dhananjaypara village, were residents of hhe upazila.

Quoting slain Mokhles’ family member, Puthia Police Station officer in-charge (investigation) Rakibul Hasan said he committed suicide in his room on Sunday night.

Quoting deceased Salma’s family, Oc Rakibul said she also committed suicide earlier on February 8 and became sick seriously. She had been taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital immediately. She was brought back to home yesterday but died on the night.
