Mentally disabled housewife found dead in Rajshahi

A mentally disabled housewife has been found hanging in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi district.

Deceased Ferdousi Begum, 25, the wife of Yasin Ali, was a resident of Chaknarayanpur village in the upazila, said Bagha Police Station officer in-charge Rezaul Hasan said.

Quoting family members, the OC said the victim had been suffering from mental illness for a long time.

She might committed suicide due to severe mental problem on Sunday evening. His husband, Later, found her hanging with ceiling of the house.

Being informed, police sent the body to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue in the next morning.

However, an unnatural death case was filed with the police station in this connection.
