Rajshahi road accident kills 3

Rajshahi: Three people were killed and 14 others injured in a collision between two buses in Godagari upazila on Tuesday morning.

 

One of the deceased was identified as Maruf Hossain, 30, driver of one of the buses. Son of Ataur Rahman Titu, Maruf hailed from Kuthi village in the upazila.

 

Two buses collided head-on in Kamarpara around 8:30am, leaving three dead on the spot and 14 others injured, Godagari Police Station inspector Altab Hossain said.

 

Among the injured, eight were sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital with critical condition and five were sent to Godagari Health Complex.
