Youth sent to jail for molesting SSC student in Rajshahi

Rajshahi: A mobile court on Saturday sentenced a youth to 10 months' jail for molesting a female Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinee at her examination centre.

 

The accused is Afzal Sharif, 18, resident of Durgapur upazila.

 

Executive magistrate Somor Pal sentenced Afzal to 10 months and ten days jail for molesting the girl.

 

Sharif, an intermediate student of a local collage, molested the student while she was entering Bakhtiarpur High School for her geography and environmental studies examination, said the magistrate.

 

Later, on-duty police members detained Sharif and produced him before mobile court.
