Mentally disabled 'commits suicide' in Rajshahi

A mentally disabled man committed suicide in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi district on Monday morning.

Deceased Gaziur Rahman, son of late Abu Bakar Pramanik, was a resident of Naotika village in the upazila.

Quoting family members, Bagha Police Station sub-inspector Shahida Begum said Gaziur committed suicide hanging him from a mango tree near their house.  

Being informed, police bring down the body from the tree.

The victim had been suffering from mental disease for a long, citing the family sources, the SI said, adding he attempted to kill him before also.  

Meanwhile, an unnatural death case was filed with the police station in this connection.
