Goons vandalise shop, 4 held

At least three shops were vandalised in an attack by goons at court station in Rajshahi city on Monday night.

Police have arrested four people in this connection.

The arrested are:  Mohammad Ali of Dingadoba area, Payel, resident of Mohishbathan, Ataur Rahman of Bohorompur, and Liton of Rajpara area.

Eyewitnesses said 4-5 members of Maya group of Dingadoba area including attacked Sirajul Islam’s sweet shops and vandalized them.

Kashiyadanga Police Station Officer in-Charge (OC) Rabiul Islam confirmed the matter.

Being informed of the matter, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control, said the OC.
