Fake army official held

Police have arrested a fake official of Bangladesh Armu from Horogram area in Rajshahi city.

Officer in-charge (OC) of Rajpara police station Hafizul Islam confirmed the matter on Tuesday.

Arrested Afzal Minhaj Sangram, 40, is a resident in Boraigram Chondipara area of Natore.

The OC said Afzal bought 10kg beef from Horogram area and refused to pay the money introducing himself as an army major.

On information, police arrested him from the spot, he added.
