Drug addict son cut off mother's finger

A drug addict son cut off a finger of his mother at Reshompotti area under Boalia Police Station of Rajshahi district on Sunday morning.

The victim is Habiba Khatun, 75, wife of Lutfur Rahman of Reshompotti area.

Musa, 45, has been suffering from mental problem for last 2 years. He locked into an altercation with his mother for money. At one stage, he chopped his mother's hand with a knife that severed one of her a fingers.

She was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) where she is taking treatment.
