Police recovered the hanging body of a man from a mango garden in Puthia upazilla of Rajshahi on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Abul Hossen, 50, son of Hashem Ali, a resident of Maipara village of the upazila.
Abul was an accused of his wife Shahnaz killing case who had been slaughtered two years ago.
Puthia Police Station OC Sayedur Rahman Bhuiyan said being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue.
The victim’s daughter Rabea Khatun alleged that Abul has been murdered.
She said her father has an altercation with Shahin and Anisur of the area over a piece of land.
