Woman found dead in Narad river

Police recovered the body of a woman from Narad river at Puthia upazila in Rajshahi.

The deceased was identified as Razufa Begum, 35, daughter of late Jasim Mandal of Biharipara village of Puthia.

Puthia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sayedur Rahman Bhuiyan said, seeing a body floating in the Narad river near the house of Zainal Master at Raghurampur, locals informed the police. Then Police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

An unnatural death case has been filed in this incident. After receiving the post mortem report, the fact will be revealed, OC added.
