A woman was arrested for attending an HSC examination instead of her younger sister at Puthia upazila in Rajshahi on Saturday.
The arrestee was Sadia Khatun, 22, daughter of Ishak Ali of Zamira village under Belpukur union of Puthia.
Raqibul Hasan, Police Inspector (Investigation) of Puthia Police Station confirmed the matter and said Sadia was arrested from Baneshwar Degree College at around 11am for giving proxy.
Executive Magistrate of mobile court and Upazila Executive Officer Abdullah Al Mahmud said, the arrestee has been brought to police station and legal action will be taken against her.
