An excavator driver has been killed after the excavator he was operating overturned at Sargachhi village in Puthia upazilla of Rajshahi on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Lablu Mollah, 47, son of Noor Mollah, hailed from Narail district.
Puthia Police Station SI Saiful Islam said the excavator Lablu was operating overturned and fall on Lablu’s chest, leaving him dead on the spot.
The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue.
An unnatural death case has been filed with Puthia Police Station, the SI said.
