Rajshahi University (RU) unit Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and general students on Thursday brought out a jubilant procession on the campus welcoming Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s decision to abolish the quota system in government job.
The procession began from the BCL tend and ended at the same place where a brief rally was also held.
RU unit BCL secretary Faisal Ahmed Runu presided over the rally where its president Golam Kibria, vice president Najmul Islam Sojol and organizing secretary Imran Khan Nahid also spoke.
Central BCL vice president Fariha Zaman Aurna was also present at the rally.
From the rally, BCL leaders and activists thanked the PM and welcomed her decision.
Rajshahi Metropolitan unit BCL also brought out a jubilant procession from Rajshahi College.
