Police in several drives arrested six woman militant members of Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and one of their male fellows from different places of Godagari upazilla in Rajshahi on early Wednesday.
Identities of the arrested men yet not known.
Sumit Chowdhury, additional superintendent of Rajshahi police (ASP), confirmed the matter.
Police in several drives in Chhoyghati, Kathal baria, Harupur, and Deupara of the upazilla arrested the seven militants, said the ASP.
The arrestees have confessed their involvement with banned militant outfit JMB in the initial interrogation, he added.
