A grandfather has allegedly raped his 6-year old granddaughter at Sujan Palash area at Bagmara upazila in Rajshahi on Monday afternoon.
The accused was Sobhan Ali, 60, of the same area.
Later, the child was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital at the one-stop crisis center on Tuesday morning.
Nasim Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bagmara police station, said police has arrested the accused grandfather. A rape case has also been filed against the accused with Bagmara police station in this connection.
