Motorcyclist killed on Godagari road

A motorcycle passenger was killed in a road accident at Godagari upazila in Rajshahi on Wednesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Khaled Saifullah, 27, son of Rafiqul Islam of Mohishalbari area of the upazilla.

Local sources said, Khaled was returning home by motorcycle. On the way, a votvoti (human hauler) pushed his motorcycle leaving him dead.

After the incident, locals block the road for a while, and then police brought the situation under control.

Altaf Hossen, Officer-in-charge of Godagari model police station, confirmed the matter and said legal action will be taken in this incident.
