JMB man held with firearm

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an operative of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Charghat upazila of Rajshahi district early Thursday.

Arrested Lokman Hakim, son of Alim Uddin, is an active member of JMB. He is a resident of Mahendra village under Belpukur Police Station in Rajshahi city, said RAB-5 deputy captain SM Ashraful Islam.

On secret information, a team of the elite force raided Halidagachhi area  and arrested him alongwith three bullets, a foreign pistol and two Jihadi books.
