Child found dead 17 hours of missing

A three-and-a-half-year old boy was found dead in Godagari upaizla of Rajshahi early Friday, 17 hours after he went missing.

Dead Tamim was the son of one Russel, a resident of Matikata Railgate area in the upazila.

Family members said Tamin wnt missing since 10am on Thursday. They conducted a hectic search in the area.

He was found dead inside a stake of fuel wood in the courtyard around 3am.

Godagari Model Police Station inspector Altaf Hossain said injury marks were found on the head of the child.
