8 crude bombs recovered

Police on Friday afternoon recovered eight crude bombs from Shyampur sand station of Katakhali municipality in Rajshahi district.

Katakhali Police Station officer in-charge Mehedi Hasan said the bombs were found inside an abandoned bag beside toll plaza of the sand station.

Police suspect that the bombs might have been stocked to create panic following dispute between two rival groups over the sand station, the OC added.
