Newborn found in field
Police on Sunday night rescued a newborn baby from Baneshwar area of Puthia upazilla in Rajshahi district .Puthia Police Station officer in-charge Shakil Uddin Ahmed confirmed this.
The OC said local people heard a sound of crying in a field in the area at around 10:30pm, and they found the newborn there.
Being informed, police brought the baby, and kept it to Anisur Rahman, a resident of the area, the OC added.
