A woman was killed in a road accident on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj road in Sultanganj area of Godagari municipality in Rajshahi district on Sunday morning.
Deceased Rasheda Begum, 60, was a resident of Sarangpur Police Para area in the municipality, said Godagari Model Police Station assistant inspector Ali Akbar.
A bus knocked her down while she was crossing road in the area around 8:30am, leaving her dead on the spot, the police official added.
