Rajshahi University (RU) administration has organized a joyous procession congratulating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after successful launching of satellite Bangabandhu -1 to the space.
A pre-procession rally was held in front of the Senate Building and circulating the main streets of the campus at 10:30 am on Monday.
Congratulating the prime minister, RU Vice-Chancellor M Abdus Sobhan said that the country's development is now not in paper but development is now visible.
Bangladesh has developed in all areas of education, medicine, agriculture and technology. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now working step by step to build Bangabandhu's Sonar Bangla successfully, he added.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Ananda Kumar Saha, Treasurer Professor AKM Mostafizur Rahman, Student Adviser Professor Jannatul Ferdous, Proctor Prof Lutfor Rahman, Administrator of Public Relations Prof. Pravhas Kumar Karmokar and about five thousands teachers and students of various departments of the university were present in the procession.
