A madrasa student was allegedly gang raped in Paba upazila of Rajshahi on Thursday.
Local sources said, the girl accompanied her friend to Joypur area from Kismot Kukhandi at about 10am.
Two youths in Kismot Kukhandi area picked up the girl from near Usha Agro farm on her way home and took her to a nearby house.
They confined the girl in a room and violated her.
Sensing the matter, local people chased the culprits at about 1pm and rescued the girl.
The victim's parents took her to Katakhali Police Station and filed a case.
Katakhali police duty officer Foyez said drive is on to nab the culprits.
