World Metrology Day observed in Rajshahi

World Metrology Day was observed in Rajshahi on Sunday, with a slogan ‘Constant evolution of the International System of Units’.

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) held a discussion in the city to mark the day.

BSTI Director (Rajshahi) Altab Hossain presided over the meeting while Additional District Magistrate Subrata Pal attended as chief guest.

Professor Dr Ariful Islam Nahid, chairman of Applied and Electronic Engineering Department at Rajshahi University, Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Director Sadrul Islam were present.
