A young man was stabbed to death at Bheripara intersection in Rajshahi city on Monday night.
Deceased Prashanta Kumar Ghosh, 22, was the son of Swapan Kumar Ghosh, a resident of Bheripara area, said Rajpara Police Station officer in-charge Hafizur Rahman.
Quoting witnesses, the OC said four to five miscreants beat up and stabbed Prashanta in police lines hospital area around 10:00pm, leaving him critically injured.
Later, local people rushed Prashanta to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
The reason behind the killing is yet to be known
