Human chain for protesting rape, kill of Tripura girls

The central committee of Rajshahi Adibasi Chhatra Parishad formed a human chain on Wednesday demanding punishment to the perpetrators involved in the killing of two indigenous girls after rape.

The human chain was formed at Saheb Bazar Zero Point at about 10:30am.

Participants of the human chain demanded capital punishment to the culprits.

They said indigenous women are falling victims to rape and murder, but, the government failed to ensure trial of the perpetrators.

On May 18, miscreants raped and killed two girls of Tripura tribe.
