5 held in Rajshahi over recruitment exam cheating

Police on Saturday arrested five members of a question paper leaking syndicate in Rajshahi.

Among the arrested, four people are: Tusmir Sheikh, student of Rajshahi University, Saidur Rahman of Bogura, Sarwar Jahan of Chapainawabganj, and Alamgir Hussain of Rajshahi.

Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner SM Abdul Quader and Charghat upazila nirbahi officer Saiful Islam conducted the operation during the Primary School assistant teacher recruitment examination.

One was arrested for giving proxy at Rajshahi Polytechnic Institute centre and others were arrested as per the confession of the arrestee.
