A young man was killed in a road accident in Godagari in Rajshahi at around 12:30 am on Saturday.
Deceased Shafiqul islam, son of late Amjad Ali, is the resident of Athari Lineapara village of Godagari upazila.
Locals said that he was going to Godagari Sadar in a pickup van at around 12:30 pm on Saturday. The pickup overturned after its driver lost control while saving cows on the road in front of Shafina Park near Godagari.
Shafiqul died on the spot.
Godagari police station ASI Manik Raju said two more people were injured in this incident, they were admitted to Godagari Hospital.
The legal procedure is underway for the body, added the ASI.
