Vegetables prices decreased in Rajshahi market comparing to that of last week.
Vegetable price decreased by Tk 8 to 10 per kg, but the price of green chili increased by Tk 20, while rice and meat prices remain unchanged.
At Saheb Bazar area in Rajshahi city on Friday, vegetables were available from Tk 15 to 20 per kg, sweet pumpkin Tk 15, green chilli 50 to 60, the price of Coriander leaves has been reduced from Tk 100 to Tk 80.
Meanwhile, potato price reduced from Tk 16 to 18, onion Tk 35 to 40 and Indian onion Tk 20 to 25.
Abdus Salam, who came to buy vegetables, said price decreased at the end of the month of Ramadan after people’s suffering. It would be better if prices reduced earlier, he lamented.
