Rajshahi FRC produces colour mango for export

Rajshahi Fruit Research Center has begun has started test production of exportable color mangoes.

Colourful mangoes are seen hanging from the tree branches in the institute’s compound in Rajshahi.

The mango is very nice to look and it tastes good also, officials say. Officials of the institute said that these are excellent because of its nice pulp.

This new variety of mango is being cultivated aiming at exporting abroad. The mango can be cultivated in a natural way without packets.

Principal of the Progressive Division of Bangladesh Institute of Agriculture Research Institute Dr. Babul Chandra Sarkar, Chief Scientific Officer Manoranjan Dhar, Officer Mahrufa Afroz, Officer Anindita Roy Uti, Chief Scientific Officer Alim Uddin of Rajshahi Fertilizer Research Center, and Officer-in-Charge Atiqur Rahman were present in the experiment program.
