Two female drug peddlers held with 3kg hemp

Police detained two female drug peddlers alongwith three kilograms of hemp in Rajshahi on Monday night.

The detainees were identified as Khurshida Begum Khushi, 30, wife of Rabiul Islam of Barorasta crossing area under the city, and Sharna Akhter Mukti, 25), wife of Shaon of New Baipass area.

Chandrima Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Humayun Kabir said the two women were held from their houses during a drive.

A case was filed with Chandrima police station under the Narcotics Control Act.
