Man electrocuted

A man was electrocuted in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi on Tuesday morning.

Deceased Atahar Ali, 55, was a resident in Shilmaria area under the upazila, said Puthia Police Station officer in-charge Shakil Uddin Ahmed.

Atahar came in contact with a live electric wire while operating a motor pump in his house around 9:00am, leaving him dead on the spot, the OC added.
