Annual service program of volunteer socio-development organization 'Manab Sheba Ovijan' has been held in Rajshahi on Friday morning at the Nananking Darbar hall in the city.
Speakers said at the program that 10 percent of the people in the country are disabled. These people are most neglected in society. If the conscious people of the society help them, then these disabled people can also do great work.
Rajshahi University professor Shafiqunnabi Sammy presided over the program where LGED Chief Engineer Abul Kalam Azad was present as the chief guest.
Among others, LGED Additional Chief Engineer Abdul Malek Sarkar, caretaker engineer Sujankar Chandra Acharya, Rajshahi Women's College Principal Syeda Nilufar Ferdous, Social Services Deputy Director Rashedul Kabir, Assistant Director (retired) Jaituna Khatun were also present.
