Former Puthia mayor Asad arrested

Police arrested former mayor of Puthia municipality, Asadul Haq Asad, in a case of sabotage in Rajshahi Puthia on Saturday noon.
 
Asadul Haq Asad, 46, son of late Azhar Ali, resident of Puthia municipality, was the first elected mayor of Puthia municipality. At present, he is general secretary of BNP Puthia unit.

Officer-in-Charge of Police Station OC Shakil Uddin Ahmed, said he was arrested in the sabotage case. Asad will be sent to jail through the court, said OC.
