2 smugglers arrested with 300 bottles phensedyl

The Bagha Police arrested two drug dealers in possession of 300 bottles phensedyl in Rajshahi at Bagha upazila from Mirganj's Mohdipur area on Tuesday noon.

The arrestees were identified as Zaihrul Islam, a resident of Mirganj village of Bagha upazila and Mohidul Islam, of the same village.

On secret information that the smugglers were carrying 300 bottles of phensidyl from Indian border to Bagha area, police arrested them along with the phensedyl when they reached Mirganj in the upazila, said Bagha Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rezaul Hasan Reza.

They will be produced in the court in a drug case on Wednesday. Their family members are also involved in drug business, the OC added.
