Man held with 100 bottles of phensidyl

The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a suspected drug peddler alongwith 100 bottles of Phensidyl syrups and 1,950 grams of hemp from Baneshwar Bazar in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi on Saturday morning.

The detainee was identified as Liton Mia, 29. He hailed from Sahebganj village in Atrai upazila of Naogaon district, according to sources in RAB-5.

However, a case was filed with Puthia Police Station in this connection, the sources added.
