BNP mayoral candidate Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul started campaign for Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) elections through a mass contact on Tuesday noon at Sahebbazar area in Rajshahi.
In the morning, he went to Al-Jamia al-Islamia Allama Mohammad Mia Kasami (R) (Islamia Madrasa) in the New Market area of the city, met the reachers and students of the madras and prayed.
He started the election campaign visiting the shrine of Shah Makhdum Ruposh (R) at noon.
Mizanur Rahman Minu, BNP chairperson's advisor, former mayor and parliament member, Advocate Shafiqul Haq Milon, general secretary of BNP's central committee's relief and rehabilitation affairs and city BNP general secretary were present.
After praying, the leaders went to house to houses in different lanes of Dargapara, ward-9 and ward-12.
They also organized street rally in front of Rajshahi College, at Sahibbazaar Zero Point, and RDA Market area.
