
An information meeting about National Vitamin 'A+' Campaign (1st Round) Campaign among journalists was held in Rajshahi Civil Surgeon Office conference room on Tuesday.
It was informed in the meeting that the goal of feeding vitamin 'A+' capsules to 289,801 children at Rajshahi district level has been set to prevent malnutrition and elimination of child death.
In the first round of the campaign will held on 14th July when 289,801 children will be provided Vitamin A+ capsules in 1,754 centers of Rajshahi district.
In this programme, 27,993 children aged between 6 months to 11 months will be provided blue capsules and 26,61,808 children aged 12 to 59 months will be given red capsules.
Among others, Rajshahi Civil Surgeon Sanjit Kumar Saha, Medical Officer Dr Pradish Kumar Biswas, deputy civil surgeon Enamul Haque and different media correspondents working in Rajshahi were present in the meeting.
