Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) central leaders of Rajshahi have joined the campaign for the upcoming Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) election.
The BNP-backed mayoral candidate Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul conducted mass contact along with 20-party alliance leader on Monday. They participated in the mass contact from 8am to noon in Wards number 10, 11 and 13 of the city.
Bulbul said BNP is always a well-organized party and harmony among the activists is getting stronger with the advent of the election day. The people of Rajshahi will cast their valuable vote for BNP in upcoming RCC election, he hoped.
BNP central committee organizing secretary Advocate Ruhul Kuddus Talukdar Dulu said, "The BNP will not leave the election field despite obstacles and tortures. The BNP leaders and activists will keep guard the polling centers to ensure free vote casting. BNP and Rajshahi people will not let rob their voting right.
BNP chairperson's advisor Mizanur Rahman Minu, former deputy minister of the state and BNP's central committee organizing secretary Advocate Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu, former Puthia-Durgapur MP and BNP national executive committee member Nadim Mustafa, and BNP central committee members were also present in the mass contact.
