Housewife died mysteriously in Godagari

A teenage housewife died mysteriously in Godagari of Rajshahi on Monday at around 4 pm.

The dead was Rehena Khatun, 18, wife of Mahbul Islam of Jahanabad village in Godagari municipal area.

The victim's father Abdur Rahim said that his daughter Rehena was killed for dowry. After marriage, Mahbul was torturing her daughter for dowry.

On information, police recovered the dead body at around 7pm.

Godagari Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jahangir Alam said police are investigating about her death. Action will be taken after filing a murder case.
