Case filed over bomb attack on Rajshahi BNP rally

A case has been filed in connection with the bomb blast in the Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) election rally of BNP nominated mayor candidate Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul on Tuesday in Rajshahi city.

On Wednesday night, Sub-Inspector Shamim of Boalia Police Station filed the case under Explosives Act against 8-10 unnamed people.

The BNP street rally came under attack at around 10:30 am on the Sagarpara intersection of the city. Two people, including a journalist, were injured in this incident. They were treated at Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) Hospital.

Boalia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Amanullah said operation is on to nab the suspected people.
