8,823 trees planted in Charghat upazila

As many as 8,823 trees have been planted in Charghat as part of the process of planting 30 lakh trees in the country for remembering the martyrdom of the great Liberation War fighters.

UNO Ashraful Islam inaugurated the planting of Charghat Model Government Primary School premises at the initiative of Upazila Administration and Upazila Forest Department, On Wednesday morning.

Among others, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Syeda Sadia Nooria, Education Officer Mir Mamunur Rashid, Charghat Press Club President SM Mozammel Haque, Upazila Forest Officer Satyendranath Sarkar, Assistant Education Officer Lutfar Ali, Charghat Model Government Primary School Headmaster Shamima Sultana, general secretary of Charghat Press Club Nazrul Islam Bachchu also were present on the occasion.
