State minister for foreign affairs Shahriar Alam said none related to drugs will be exempted, and there is neither any place for evil in Awami League nor any corrupt will be spared.
“None is starving in the country now because Awami League has been working tirelessly for the fate of the people since coming to power," he also said.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the ceremony distributing allowance and book among the elderly, disabled, widowed, divorced, poor womens organized by the Bagha upazila administration and Social Services Department in Rajshahi on Monday noon.
The Chief Executive Officer Shahin Reza presided over the program. Among others, Deputy Director of District Social Services Rashedul Kabir, District Executive Magistrate Subrata Kumar Pal, General Secretary Ashraful Islam Babul, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Ashraful Islam Babul, Arani Municipality Mayor Muktar Ali, Upazila Social Service Officer Abdul Hannan, OC Rezaul Hasan spoke in the program.
Later, the minister inaugurated the newly constructed two-storied building of Chakbausa Government primary school. President of the school management committee Abdur Rashid presided over the inauguration ceremony.
Upazila executive officer Shahin Reza, Education Officer Ahsan Ara, teacher association president Anjarul Haque, engineer AKM Masudur Rahman were present.
In the afternoon, the state minister for foreign affairs inaugurated the Ber Habashpur road under Monigram Union, Atghari, Kaikipara-Keshabpur, Jotkadipur road separately.
