Human chain demands indigenous quota preserved

A human chain was formed in demand of maintaining indigenous quota and the protesting against the recommendations of the Quota Review Committee to cancel the indigenous quota.

The human chain programme was organised by the central committee of the Adivasi Vidyarthi Parishad at Saheb Bazaar Zero Point in Rajshahi around 10:30 am on Thursday.

Indigenous Students Council Central Committee President Nokul Pahan presided  over the programme. National Adivasi Parishad Rajshahi District Committee President Bimal Chandra Rajaar, Rajshahi Metropolitan Committee General Secretary Andreas Biswas, Adivasi Youth Council Central Committee General Secretary Naren Chandra Pahan, its former President Bibhuti Bhushan Mahato were also present on the occasion.
