Hanging body found in mango garden

Police found the hanging body of a young man from their own mango gardens near his house at Bagha in Rajshahi on Friday morning.

The deceased Mofiz Uddin, 52, was son of late Yusuf Ali, a resident of adjacent area of Girls High School of Arani Paurar Bazar of Bagha upazila.

Quoting the family, police sources said Mofiz went out of his house to see their mango gardens at 9 am in the morning on Friday.

Later, local people noticed his hanging body and the police were informed. Police recovered the body hanging from his own mango tree in the village of Diyapara.

Bagha Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rezaul Hassan Reza said Mofiz's body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue.

A UD case has been filed in this regard. But the mystery of his death is not yet known.
