Electrical engineering student dies from electrocution

An electrical and electronics engineering student was electrocuted in Bagmara upazila of Rajshahi on Sunday morning.

Deceased Mominur Rahman, 24, was a final year student of Dhaka's Daffodil International University. He was the son of late Azizur Rahman Master, a resident of Hasnipur village.

The victim's family members said Mominur came in contact with live electric wire while repairing an electric line of a fan.

The tragic incident occurred as Mominur did not switch off the main electric line while repairing and suddenly, the electricity came in.

He, later, died on way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
