Rajshahi sugar mill workers observed strike for arrears

Workers and employees of Rajshahi Sugar Mill observed work stoppage and demonstrated in demand of arrear wages on Sunday morning.

Workers and employees started protesting by blocking the road in front of the Hariyan Sugar Mill near the city.

They demanded their wages before Eid. The workers observed a 3-hour work abstention and threatened not to join work until they get their payment.

The protesters declared that tougher action would be taken if there is no salary before Eid.
