Terracotta artist electrocuted

A terracotta artist died from electrocution in Puthia of Rajshahi on Thursday at Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj district.

The deceased was Madan Pal (60), son of late Gaur Pal of Hatikumrul village under Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj district.

He used to work for the design of terracotta at the Department of Archeology in Puthia.

He was electrocuted while repairing a ceiling fan in his house in the evening. He died on the way to hospital.
