44 detained in Rajshahi; Drugs recovered

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), in different drives, detained 44 people from various places on Tuesday.

Drugs were also recovered during the drives, said RMP spokesman and Assistant Police Commissioner Iftekhaer Alam.

Of the detainees, Boalia Model Police nabbed six, Rampara Police four, Chandrima Police two, Motihar police five, Katkhali Police two, Belpukur, Shahmakhdum, Dakura and Paba Police each held one, Kaishidanga police 14, Karnahar police six while DB police arrested one.
