10 Jamaat-Shibir activists arrested
A total of 10 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir and five others were arrested in a special 'Block Raid' in the municipal town of Budhpara area in Rajshahi around 10am to 12 pm on Wednesday. Of them, four warrant accused and one drug case accused were detained, RMP spokesman and assistant Police Commissioner Iftekhar Alam confirmed the matter.
Matihar zone's DC Sajid Hossain led the 'Block Raid', Motihar PS Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahadat Hossain Khan, RMP Detective Branch, and police officers were also present in the drive, added Iftekhar Alam.
